Sunflower Showdown!!

Last week we did several football activities for the Sunflower Showdown.  I think the kids really got into learning about KSU and KU during the week.  As well as all the fun football activities that went with them.

We made some super cute cheerleaders and football players.  For some reason most of the girls were K-State fans and most of the boys were KU fans. 

 

We also made a graph to show how the kids thought would win...I promise I didn't sway the vote any!

This week will we will be learning about the pumpkin life cycle and doing some fun math and writing activities with pumpkins.  We will also start to learn about spiders.

In Math we will be working on our doubles and using a number line this week.  In spelling we continue to work on the ck at the end of words.
